Paul Bailey

Paul is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, dedicated to helping people improve their health through clarity, confidence, and evidence-based nutrition. He holds a Master of Dietetics with Distinction from Curtin University, Perth.

Paul specialises in gut health—particularly conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other gut-brain conditions—as well as cardiometabolic health, including heart disease, insulin resistance, and type 2 diabetes. He also provides support in exercise and performance nutrition, drawing on his own background as a competitive swimmer to help individuals optimise energy, recovery, and wellbeing.

With a non-dieting, weight-neutral approach, Paul focuses on health improvement rather than restriction. He does not provide weight loss advice, but does have experience in supporting individuals to achieve nourishment if using GLP-1 medications (such as Wegovy or Mounjaro).

Paul is known for his warm, non-judgemental manner and ability to make nutrition feel approachable and less confusing. He enjoys working collaboratively with clients to create clear, personalised roadmaps that outline what their treatment journey might look like—from understanding their symptoms and lab results to implementing practical, sustainable strategies for long-term health.

His experience spans mental health clinics, diabetes clinics, family nutrition programs, and sports performance settings. Whether supporting someone to manage IBS, improve heart health, or fuel their training, Paul’s goal is simple: to help people discover what truly matters for their health and wellbeing, and to feel empowered every step of the way.
